We will hold an in-person, live worship service
on Saturday, January 18th, at 7:30 p.m.
This service will also be live-streamed and recorded for those who would prefer to worship on Sunday.
It will replace our regular 9:30 a.m. Sunday service.
Please note that all other MAPC Sunday activities are canceled.
Further Rationale:
Dear MAPC Family,
We hope this message finds you well. Given the evolving snow forecast, which now predicts 3.3 inches with the potential for more, the Session and Diaconate have thoughtfully decided to adjust our worship plans for the weekend to prioritize safety and accessibility.
This plan offers several key benefits:
- Worship will proceed safely regardless of the unpredictable weather.
- Travel risks are minimized since no one will need to commute in potentially hazardous conditions.
- In-person fellowship and engagement will still be possible for those who can attend.
- Streaming and sound quality will meet our high standards, ensuring a meaningful experience for all.
- While we are making the most of this opportunity to worship, we have no plans to establish a regular Saturday evening service.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these tricky weather conditions. We look forward to gathering together, whether in person or online, to worship our faithful God.
Blessings,
MAPC Session and Diaconate
