The Women’s Ministry Committee is planning to begin collecting again for Mt Airy Net starting Sunday, September 3. According to Mt Airy Net’s Facebook page, their shelves are empty and they are currently in great need! Please consider donating in September to help provide canned goods, other non-perishable food items, and personal and hygiene items for those in need in the Mt Airy region. See below for list of items needed. You can also find additional information on the webpage at www.mtairynet.org. We will have boxes in the church lobby where you can place your donations when our collection begins on September 3. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to MAPCA with a note that it is for our Mt Airy Net collection. Now accepting:
Canned items including fruits, vegetables, tomatoes (paste), beans, pasta sauce, soups, stews, meats and pastas.
Packaged items including mac and cheese, helper meals, pasta and rice sides, stuffing, snack items, peanut butter and jelly, condiments.
Dry goods including cereal, crackers, baking items, pancake mixes, rice, pasta, macaroni, and brownie mix.
Beverages including coffee, tea bags, juice, and water.
Paper items including tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, wipes and napkins.
Personal items including shampoos, toothpaste, deodorant, bath soap, toothbrushes, diapers and wipes.
