Pastor Jim Richwine Goodbye Luncheon and Memories
On April 7, 2024 Mount Airy Presbyterian Church hosted a goodbye luncheon for our much loved interim Pastor Jim Richwine and his wife Brooke (and Brooke's service dog Cricket). In March of 2022 the church contacted Interim Pastor Ministries (IPM) to provide an interim Pastor to help us to find a new Senior Pastor. Jim came to us in April of 2022 and served the church by providing leadership through the transition process, training, teaching, and setting an inspiring example. When Sam Hettinger accepted the call to be pastor, Jim (literally) handed over the batton to Sam and they moved back to Ohio to prepared to serve another church in transition. Whatever church that will be, will be very blessed.
